Designed to provide users with accurate, reproducible results, Arsenic Quick™ for water quality testing saves time and money with its cutting-edge chemistry.  Arsenic Quick™ reports results in only 12 minutes and uses no dangerous chemicals in its test procedure.

With only one simple test procedure (using 3 reagents), Arsenic Quick makes it possible for anyone interested in testing for dissolved arsenic to do so without a laboratory.  Additionally, this kit works as well for water testing professional and service technician as it does for the average homeowner or student.

This version of the Arsenic Quick™ contains water testing supplies for a total of 5 water samples.

Detection Range:

  • 0.0, 0.005, 0.01, 0.02, 0.06, 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, >0.5, >>0.5 ppm (mg/L)
  • The USEPA set the 'action limit' for dissolved arsenic in public water supplies at .010 ppm.

  • Each kit contains 5 tests

How Arsenic Quick Test Kits Work:

Without getting too technical, inorganic arsenic present in the water sample gets converted to arsine gas by the zinc dust and tartaric acid.  Then, the arsine gas reacts with other compounds contained in the test pad suspended at the top of the test vessel (plastic bottle) to create a color change on the test pad.

Safety Concerns:

This test DOES liberate gases that could pose health hazards if the test gets performed in a small, closed area.  Open windows and perform testing in an area that gets good ventilation and the small amounts of gases generated by the testing should pose no danger.

Remember: The simple chemistry and procedures involved in the Arsenic Quick Test Kit have undergone extensive review by experts in the EPA and received the distinguished honor of EPA/ETV Test Verified status.  Arsenic Quick Test Kits could not have earned that recognition if the EPA/ETV Program viewed them as hazardous to users.
